The room or apartment that you are staying in is rented by the university as a service to exchange students only. All other students must find housing on their own. This means that soon another exchange students will arrive to move in and stay in your room after you have left.

We expect you to take good care of the room and all furniture and equipment in it. You are not allowed to put up posters or other things that may damage walls or other surfaces. All furniture must be in the room when you check out.

You are personally responsible for your keys and tags, any damage, loss of items, bad cleaning or whatever will be found upon inspection before check out. If you have questions about this, please contact your landlord or the housing office. Any costs that will arise caused by you will be invoiced to your home address and your home university will be notified.
